Hani Bassel

Hani works at the Aden Refinery as an Administration supervisor in the H.R department. His father Saleh Ahmed Nasser and his  grandfather both worked for BP. Hani is researcher and uses this site as a reference. Hani has presented the site with 6 copies of Jottings he managed to find. I was told that the original copies of Jottings were lost when the administration buildings were destroyed by fire.

Hani has asked if anyone has copies of " Akhbar al Masafi " the Arabic version of Jottings please let him know through this site.

Hani has provided the site with a clip of the documentary "We Found a Valley" which chronicles the building of the refinery in Little Aden . Hani writes to say that the film is very popular with the refinery staff and visitors. There are now two versions, one in English and an Arabic translation. As the film is deteriorating due to its age  Emad A.Hakeem Al-Syed the refinery site manager has made digital copies which can be downloaded at the following link.     http://arc-ye.com/Download/ArcMovi/ARCMovie.rar   The film is in a zipped format.
