Phil lived in Aden from 1954 until 1961. His father Sydney (mother Gladys) worked at the BP refinery. He recalls living on Surrey Street and Marine Drive. I can see both houses I lived in for my 6 years stay in Aden Both Surrey St and Marine Drive. I loved it there going swimming with the dolphins (or were they porpoises) each morning. It was a world apart from the old UK
